This time Sonny Chiba praises his role as the great Hattori Hanzō I, and his struggle to gather the Iga Shadow Warriors against Koga & Fuma ninjas and the political conspiracies. It is worth noticing that Hiroki Matsukata takes the other leading role in his unique personification of Sarutobi Sasuke. The first 5 films are a unity in terms of the story, however, the last film has become an independent story about who sides with the enemy Zensaku.
