He gathers about 5000 old black and white photographs borrowed by all the Italian families who have emigrated to Ireland over the past hundred years. The documentary follows Barbie in his quest and interviews members of other families who have emigrated into Ireland. The result is a melancholic, nostalgic and at times funny portrait of a unique community.
