Akuna 2018
After serving five years in Iraq, Will Robinson returned home a shattered person. He fell into a sea of depression and self-medication before deciding it was time to do something drastic. Three weeks later, he was on the Pacific Crest Trail. He’s gone on to hike his way to recovery. His trail name? It’s Akuna, as in hakuna matata — or no worries. “I try not to worry about anything on trail. I do that in my normal life … Every mile I hike it seems like I bring more of Akuna back home with me.”

The Creek Sessions 2018
Nature has a rhythm - it just takes one to tune into it. Jess Kilroy - musician, climber and conservationist - travels to wilderness areas around the West creating music from the natural sounds she finds there, with the goal of sparking people's love for these wild lands. The Creek Sessions follows Jess on a sensory journey to create music in Utah's Indian Creek, wooing us with the splendor of the desert, and reminding us that wild places are worth protecting not simply for their landscapes, but for their soundscapes too.

The Eighty Six 2012
Stept’s 2012 ski film presents a migration from ski resorts, to cities, and back to the mountains. Everyone in the Stept crew skis, films, and works on the project together, sneaking from location to location, taking the term ‘guerilla filmmaking’ to new levels. Facing obstacles like broken cars, fires, law enforcement, competitions, water parks, parents and Denver Bronco’s Security, they’re able to consistently pick up, leave, and continue filming elsewhere. The Eighty Six.

Weight 2011
Stept Productions worked with The North Face and K2 Skis, to bring you a ski film that captures the new movement in skiing. Skiers explore the streets of Boston and Chicago in search of the biggest rails in the world, while running into some inspiring characters along the way. When the cities dry out, the weight is lifted, and the crew finds themselves skiing neck deep powder, and pushing the limits of jumping.

Network 2010
Join the Stept crew for a winter of handrails and big jumps. One of Stept’s owners and athletes Nick Martini, suffers a season ending injury and takes the reigns on the production side of things. New comers Clayton Vila and Paul Bergeron show an epic performance for their first full segments. Tom Warnick’s come back is hear, and Cam Riley puts together one of the gnarliest urban segments ever

How We Livin 2009
In contrast to their last years travel style movie "Road to Nowhere", this years movie "How We Livin" gives the viewer a first hand look into the raw underground scene of a "newschoolers" life. With a jam packed rider list put into a mixtape format combined with a fast, upbeat soundtrack, "How we livin" takes you to the streets, the backcountry, and everything inbetween.

Stept Productions invites you to join us on the adventure of our ski season. From deep West Coast powder, to the icy East, ROAD to Nowhere is a saga that can't be missed. Stept spent this past winter traveling to all points of the country and beyond, with no real plan in mind.
