A road movie on a sailboat on the Conero: the film follows a group of friends, former classmates, who venture on a holiday in search of a lost paradise made of laughter, lightness and dreams. But the dynamics of the past and the tensions accumulated over the years are put to the test when a mysterious intruder joins their journey, bringing out sunken truths.

Elena, a Sicilian mother of three, is murdered by her husband. Her cousin, Roberto decides to take the three orphans into custody. Together with his wife, Anna, he takes charge of the maintenance of the three nephews, who join the other two children of the couple.
