Rivers Return 2011
Some people are struggling to fit in, to go with the flow. Others are fighting to stand out. Who wants to be in a rat race that leaves no room for personality? The fact is: we never get any younger, no matter how much we buy the illusion. In the end there's only a painful cycle of disappointment. This is an accidental film. One scene led to another. A kind of story occurred.

Sam wakes up, gets ready and goes to do his daily job. And then the unexpected happens. A bomb explodes in the center of the shopping mall where he works. He drags himself towards the entrance to save the victims. One by one he pulls them out, until something terrible takes place. In complete hysteria he runs off till he falls down from exhaustion. A woman's voice makes him raise his head. She's one of the victims he saved. She wants to know why the suicide bomber did it. This encounter projects him back in history and even in a surreal world. Thereafter he runs into everyone he saved and feels that their defeat shows many parallels with his own. Even his confrontation with the wrongdoer isn't that straightforward as he thought it would be and confronts him with the fact that guilt and innocence can be pretty much alike.

It is an exploration of the savage subconscious, of mythical forests, of conflicting instincts, of imagination, where the body has reasons unknown to the mind. She lives on her own and spends most of her time rehearsing. Dolly, who lives with Geert, works in radio, doing voice-overs. She is terminally ill. The young women never meet. It seems an impossible situation to sustain until the true nature of their relationship is revealed ...

Short film about a soccer player's wife, who begins to feel remorse for the revenge, especially planned by her fellow-footballer's wives, on her adulterous husband. Eventually, she adopts the right, i.e. professional, attitude and saves herself from her distressing situation.
