Eagles - Live from the Forum MMXVIII 2020 star_border 8.5
In 2016, after Glenn Frey died, the Eagles went on a hiatus as Don Henley decided that the band would not play again. However, Henley reversed his decision and it was announced in March 2017 that the Eagles would perform in two festivals featuring classic rock bands organized by their manager Irving Azoff, starting with The Classic West festival held at the Dodger Stadium in July that year. Henley brought in Frey's son Deacon to perform with the remaining members of the Eagles in these shows after he saw Deacon performed Glenn Frey's songs at his memorial service.

Ending months of speculation and anticipation surrounding the first Fare Thee Well -Celebrating 50 Years of the Grateful Dead concert, the “core four” remaining Grateful Dead members -drummers Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart, bassist Phil Lesh and guitarist Bob Weir -along with Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio and keyboardists Bruce Hornsby and Jeff Chimenti slowly eased into “Truckin’” to begin the show. The biographical lyrics to the song proved to be a fitting choice to start the anniversary celebration, with the famed “What a long strange trip it’s been” verse capturing the moment perfectly. Recorded at Levi's Stadium on June 27th and 28th, 2015.

Originally released on VHS in 1992, and now on DVD for the first time, this features the band at it's peak in a live concert filmed at the Rocky Mountain Jam in Denver, Colorado. It is the only video footage available documenting this brief but popular union. The DVD Includes behind-the-scenes rehearsal and recording sessions, plus exclusive backstage footage and interviews with the band.
