We invited a group of people to a reading of the script of a film about a man who romanced women in order to swindle them. As the reading progressed, people began to dig into their own stories. The whole thing was recorded live. The result is a shared reflection on the ideal of romantic love and the extraordinary (and not necessarily positive) influence it has on men and women.

The First Look 2023
The foundation in Madrid of the Institute of Investigations and Cinematographic Experiences (IIEC) in 1947, has been the most important event in the history of Spanish cinema. From there would come directors such as Luis García Berlanga, Juan Antonio Bardem, Carlos Saura, Miguel Picazo, José Luis Borau, Mario Camus, Antonio Mercero and Víctor Erice. The first work from Fernando Franco revolves around Ana, a 30 year old ambulance driver. Though good at her job, Ana has problems relating in her personal life. She doesn't know it, but she suffers from a condition known by psychiatrists as Borderline Personality Disorder. The situation pushes her to outbreaks of self-destructive behaviour, alcohol abuse and self-harm. Ana is incapable of getting what she wants most: to be happy.

In another lifetime, a Spanish couple takes drugs and teleports through their television set. A troubled young man travels through the countryside and meets a lost woman. During the trip, they discover a museum housing the expatriated paintings of the most important Filipino artist of the revolution. Eventually, the Spanish couple disappears toward their colony. Inspired by one of the earliest teleportation accounts, which happened between the Philippines and Mexico during the colonial period.

Flor, the sister of José Humberto Baena, continues the tireless struggle that her parents took until the end of their days: vindicate the innocence and memory of her brother. Baena was a member of the FRAP and was shot on September 27, 1975 after a summary war council. He was accused of the attack that killed policeman Lucio Rodríguez. In the process, no material evidence was presented nor was there any witness. Xosé Humberto always maintained before his family that he was innocent.
