The film also discusses strategies for dealing with the social control of bodies, since prejudice is confused with discourses on health. The proposal has cross-cutting obesity-related themes - representations of the body, fatphobia, psychology, society, prejudice, food, and economic power.

Today the Feira de São Joaquim and its marketers live situations similar to those of the Cinema Novo films, in parallel they wait with hope for the beginning of the revitalization and expansion of the largest open market in Bahia.
