The series has a spin-off feature length movie, Fat Pizza, released in 2003, and a best-of highlights video/DVD that featured previously unreleased footage and a schoolies exposé, released in 2004. Through ironic and self-conscious references, Pizza involves themes of ethnicity and stereotypes, cars, sex, illicit drugs, and violence to produce its sometimes mean-spirited dark humour. The television program is noted for its frequent cameo appearances of numerous Australian celebrities of all varieties, including actors, comedians, professional athletes, and other public figures.

The series is a satirical parody of low income Australian residents of fictional suburb Sunnyvale, who are living in Housing Commission public housing. Australian Spartan 2018
Inspired by the world-wide fitness phenomenon Spartan Race, Australian Spartan takes place on the biggest course built in the country. Teams race across a series of specially designed obstacles engineered to challenge their ability to work together as a group. In the end, only one team will rise to the ultimate glory of being crowned the first ever Australian Spartan champions. After a series of heats and semi-final, 10 grand finalists will compete in an extended Spartan course. From there, the two teams left standing will race head-to-head in a spectacularly designed Grand Final course with the winning team taking home $150,000.

Hook, Line and Sinker is an Australian fishing television program, produced by HLS Productions in Hobart, Tasmania and is hosted by Nick Duigan and Andrew Hart. The program premiered in 2001 and is broadcast nationally on the Southern Cross Television network. The show is aired on Saturday afternoons and runs for 30 minutes. The show features some light entertainment and comical behaviour from the hosts as well as serious fishing news and stories from around Australia. The University of Tasmania presents a regular segment on the show called The Deep End. The segment features research and material from the Marine Research Laboratories at the Hobart campus and the National Centre for Marine Conservation & Resource Sustainability at the Launceston campus.
