The former pupils of the school "Ateneo" meet several years later to honor the retirement of the head master, Mrs. María. The house where everyone meets, still evokes ancient memories from that time. One of them proposes something very special, to play the journey exactly as they used to do it. From the 40 people committed, only 9 show up. Their only dreams are to be in front of a bull, animal with which death goes, fact of which they are fully aware, as their teachers continually remind them. These, retired bullfighters, some by age, others by force and all with their bodies full of scars produced by the horns of a bull. The nude bullfighting scene is fascinating without being exploitive, and it serves as an analogy for the vulnerability these young bullfighters have when in the ring with the bulls.

A young fisherman wishing for a better life will become a smuggler and even involve his friends if necessary. He will make it even worse with his improper concern for his brother's beautiful wife.

Pedro Manolo and Juan, three naughty and full of enthusiasm children go out with their piggy banks collecting money for missions. Near the end of the day, a car ran over one of them and is driven to a nearby hospital. The head of school, not knowing which of the children was injured calls the parents of the three to attend the health center. In parallel, we know the story of the three families. In the upper-class family, the father will leave his mother for another woman, in the middle class one, one sister invites her boyfriend to lunch and family revolutionizes and, finally, in that of lower class, the boy's father is about to be complicit in a crime

Don Rodrigo goes to the bank and when he is going to take his money there is a robbery. Then the bank refuses to give him his money back (257 pesetas, a small amount of money) with the argument that the money was robbed to him, not to the bank. He will fight against the bank till the last consequences.

Four kids get lost in the forest in the middle of a storm and go take refuge in an abandoned castle. There they will meet and face Dracula, the Werewolf, Quasimodo and Doctor Frankenstein.
