Biography
Nobuo Tomizawa (富沢 信雄, Tomizawa Nobuo, born December 26, 1951) is a Japanese anime animator and director. He is a member and director of Telecom Animation Film. He is a member of Japanese Animation Creators Association (JAniCA).

Around 1974, he began working as an illustrator on works for Nippon Animation, where he met Hayao Miyazaki, Yasuo Otsuka, Isao Takahata, and others. His work on “Future Boy Conan” led him to work on “Lupin the Third: The Castle of Cagliostro”, and he joined Telecom Animation Film in 1979. After that, he worked as an animator on “Lupin the Third” (second TV series) and “Chie the Brat” at Telecom, and then studied directing with Hayao Miyazaki on “Sherlock Hound.” Even after Miyazaki left Telecom, he continued to be a central figure at Telecom, directing many of the company's productions.

Currently, in addition to his main job, he also works as a manager, serving as the director of Telecom Animation Film.
