Biography
Ruthie Henshall is primarily known by film fans for playing Mrs Wilkinson in Billy Elliot the Musical Live (2014) however she is mainly knowing for her work in musical theatre she began her career as a pro in 1986 and has starred in shows like Billy Elliot, Les Misérables: The Dream Cast in Concert. She recently at the time of writing starred in a new revival of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Passion . The show was at the Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester from 5 May to 5 June 2022 for 37 performances.

This star-studded gala celebrates the centenary of the birth of legendary Broadway composer Richard Rodgers. Rodgers' contribution to musical theatre was extraordinary, including 900 published songs, 40 Broadway musicals and several film scores. Rodgers, together with lyricists Lorenz Hart and later Oscar Hammerstein II, wrote many of the best known musicals of the 20th Century, including Babes In Arms, Oklahoma!, Carousel, South Pacific, The King and I and The Sound of Music. This performance at London's Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, directed for the stage by Simon Callow, includes songs, dance, staged numbers and anecdotes featuring leading stars from both Broadway and London's West End. The cast comprises luminaries drawn from Oklahoma!, Kiss Me Kate, Chicago, The King and I and other recent productions as well as from television. This musical extravaganza features many of Rodgers' best-loved classics.

The Terry and Gaby Show was a daytime television show broadcast on Five on weekday mornings between June 2003 and April 2004, produced by Chris Evans' company UMTV. It was hosted by Terry Wogan and Gaby Roslin.
The opening titles featured Gaby dressed up like a movie star driven to the studio in a limo and walking on red carpet to the door. Meanwhile Terry, carrying a briefcase, rode a rickety old bicycle across London and parked it outside the back door before quietly entering the building through said back door.
The show was not well known for the guests who appeared on it, but rather for its many bloopers or double entendres
