Registration of the stage musical, based on the Dutch children's television series from the 1970s. Based on the fairy tale "The Pied Piper of Hamelin", it tells what happened with the children after they disappeared from this German town. When The Piedpiper solves the rat problem in the town of Hamelin The Mayor refuses to pay him his gold so out of revenge he disappears with all the children of the town and 4 adults (Bertram Bierenbroodspot, his fiancé and the daughter of the Mayor Lidwientje Walg, Gatekeeper Aernout Koffij and Town Crier Hildebrandt Brom), the alternate reality they find themselves in is an adventure.
During the weekend of Saturday 15 and Sunday, November 16th, 2014 was the first edition of this unique event Musicals in Concert at the Ziggo Dome Amsterdam instead. Never before were the largest Dutch musical stars including Chantal Janzen, Simone Kleinsma, Freek Bartels, Stanley Burleson, René van Kooten and Carolina Dijkhuizen together on a concert stage. They sang at this concert the most beloved songs from the rich musical repertoire and invited to sing along from the audience. Dutch also own West End star Willemijn Verkaik (Wicked, London) returned especially for this concert back to Amsterdam.

It portrays the life and death of Empress Elisabeth of Austria, also known as "Sisi", the wife of Emperor Franz Joseph I, from her engagement and marriage in 1854 to her murder in 1898 at the hands of the Italian anarchist Luigi Lucheni; it focuses on her growing obsession with death, as her marriage and the empire crumble around her just before the turn of the 20th century.
In this singing competition reality series, each series a number of well-known performers are picked and in each episode, one singer is centrally focussed and the remaining artists sing songs by that specific artist. The original artist judges the "covers" of his songs done by the participant artists.
