Biography
Keeley Forsyth is an English actress and musician. Her first acting role was as Nicky in the BBC children's television series The Biz in 1995, appearing alongside Paul Nicholls. She subsequently appeared in several television series, including Peak Practice, Where the Heart Is, Casualty, Heartbeat, The Bill, Dalziel and Pascoe, Holby City, The Line of Beauty, Luther, Criminal Justice, Coronation Street, Sons and Lovers. She has also performed for Real Circumstance Theatre Company. In 2001, she appeared in an all-star Family Fortunes: Heartbeat vs Peak Practice edition.

Peak Practice is a British drama series about a GP surgery in Cardale — a small fictional town in the Derbyshire Peak District — and the doctors who worked there. It ran on ITV from 10 May 1993 to 30 January 2002 and was one of their most successful series at the time. It originally starred Kevin Whately as Dr Jack Kerruish, Amanda Burton as Dr Beth Glover and Simon Shepherd as Dr Will Preston, though the roster of doctors would change many times over the course of the series.
Cardale was based on the Staffordshire village of Longnor for the final series, but was previously based in the Derbyshire village of Crich, although certain scenes were filmed at other nearby Derbyshire towns and villages, most notably Matlock, Belper and Ashover.

The series was written by Chris Ellis and Sarah-Louise Hawkins. The directors were David Andrews and Nigel Douglas. It ran for three series, from 1994 to 1996.
Set at Markov's School of Dance and Drama, it was a portmanteau show in which different students took centre stage from week to week. It showed training, auditions and performances.
Paul Nicholls, in one of his early roles, played up-and-coming star Tim Marshall. The role reflected his own later life as Tim had to deal with attention from the press and the public.
The series has also been airing on ABC in Australia.
