UFC 166: Velasquez vs. dos Santos III was a mixed martial arts event held on October 19, 2013, at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The main event was a UFC Heavyweight Championship bout between the current champion Cain Velasquez and top contender Junior dos Santos. The two have split their two previous encounters with Dos Santos winning the first bout via first round knockout and then Velasquez winning the rematch via unanimous decision at UFC 155.

UFC on FX 7: Belfort vs. Bisping was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on January 19, 2013, at Ginásio do Ibirapuera in São Paulo, Brazil. The main fight featured middleweights Michael Bisping and Vitor Belfort.

UFC on Fox 17: dos Anjos vs. Cowboy 2 was a mixed martial arts event that took place on December 19, 2015 at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. This was the last UFC event in 2015. The event was headlined by a UFC Lightweight Championship bout between current champion Rafael dos Anjos and top contender Donald Cerrone. UFC Fight Night 38: Shogun vs. Henderson 2 was a mixed martial arts event held on March 23, 2014, at the Ginásio Nélio Dias in Natal, Brazil. The event was headlined by the anticipated rematch between mixed martial arts legends Maurício Rua and Dan Henderson. Henderson won their first encounter back in November 2011 at UFC 139 via unanimous decision in a bout lauded by many MMA pundits as the Fight of the Year for 2011 and one of the best bouts in the history of the UFC.

UFC 146: dos Santos vs. Mir was a mixed martial arts (MMA) pay-per-view event (PPV) promoted by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on May 26, 2012 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main card featured five MMA bouts which were shown on PPV, as well as seven preliminary bouts which were shown on FX, and Facebook. This was the first time in UFC history that the main card featured all heavyweight bouts.

The Ultimate Fighter: Redemption Finale (also known as The Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale) was a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship held on July 7, 2017 at T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada, part of the Las Vegas metropolitan area. The event was headlined by a lightweight bout between Michael Johnson and former WSOF Lightweight Champion Justin Gaethje. The welterweight finals of The Ultimate Fighter: Redemption took place at the event.

UFC Fight Night 136: Hunt vs. Oleinik was a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship held on September 15, 2018 at Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Moscow, Russia. The event marked the promotion's first visit to Russia. The UFC arranged to use half of the venue and used a modified seating configuration for the arena. While not officially announced, the promotion was initially targeting a heavyweight bout between former UFC Heavyweight Champion Fabrício Werdum and Aleksei Oleinik to serve as the main event. However, on May 22, Werdum was flagged for a potential USADA doping violation and his status moving forward became unknown. On July 19, the promotion announced that a bout between the 2001 K-1 World Grand Prix winner and former interim title challenger Mark Hunt and Oleinik would serve as the event headliner.

UFC 222: Cyborg vs. Kunitskaya is a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship held on March 3, 2018, at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada, part of the Las Vegas metropolitan area.
