Giorgos Papakostas was born in 1935 in Athens, Greece. He was a director and writer, known for To syrtaki tis amartias (1966), Martha, i gynaika tou ponou (1970) and Kardia pou lygise apo ton pono (1968). He died on 31 January 2011 in Athens, Greece.
