The titular magic lantern is simple projection apparatus, invented several hundred years ago. In the animation, it appears as an object symbolizing the power of eyes and behind the scenes crimes.

Animated adaptation of Adam Mickiewicz's ballad entitled Mrs. Twardowska, made on the hundredth anniversary of the poet's death (1855). Jan Marcin Szancer, an outstanding graphic designer and book illustrator, was the author of the script and the art concept. He was a person present in the Polish film industry since the interwar years. The main animator of Mrs. Twardowska was Witold Giersz, the future master of animation. The fluidity of movement and the grace of the characters, similar to the ones in The Goat Kid, evoke associations with Disney films. This beautiful film proves the creative possibilities and ambitious attitude of the Polish animation community a few years after the war.

It says ‘Later definitely there will be no camps, there will be no states, people will not kill themselves’. It explains the intent of the title. Modern people live in too much of a rush to remember this.

The man finally reaches the end of the road and pushes the ball into the sea. An animated parable created by Miroslaw Kijowicz, a director, scriptwriter of animated films, set designer and educator. An ordinary man was usually the protagonist of Kijowicz's philosophical short films. The situations presented in the films were rather general, they were supposed to provide food for thought.

It is her house, where she cooks, she sleeps, she plays the piano. In the tree where she lives. Little Margo has neighbors: Eliana, a squirrel that lives in the upper floor of the tree or Dennis, a dormouse that lives in the back floor. Life in the tree runs smoothly, but there are people who are not willing to make life easy for Margo. The little mouse will have problems of the day to day with cats, beggars or owls. However, in each experience, Margo will learn various values about life, about friendship, about love, respect and independence. With her friends, Margo will live many adventures.

Dog detective Rex arrives at the old castle to solve the mystery of the theft of precious stones. He notices cats, who bring a mummy into a historic building. He wants to do something, but it turns out that it is just a bottle of milk. The cat's caretaker offers him a tour of the castle. Meanwhile, at night, someone kidnaps the kitten. Rex sets traps...

Rex wants to become a painter. The dog’s painting showing an abstract cock is appreciated by a strange painter. He takes Rex to a gallery. The doggie gets a diploma and sells the painting for a sausage. As a great painter, Rex is kidnapped! He will break free... using a brush.

Rex wants to play, but other animals (the cock, the pig, the goose, the turkey) don’t understand his bark. Rex decides to learn the languages of the animals on the farm. He joyfully gobbles, oinks, crows, honks, moos, and bleats.

Rex, influenced by music, begins to sing. He can recognize a harmony of sounds. The dog decides to sing by the window of a neighbor who plays the piano beautifully. She is better than a boy whose violin is out of tune. However, playing with a stick is not so great when you are a singer.

Rex and the cat are friends. Unfortunately, the cat wants to hunt the bird – a friend of Rex. In order to prevent that, the dog and the bird prepare some traps for the cat, they use a bucket of cold water and a rubbish bin.

Rex is glad to see his master, a hunter. The dog has already made friends with the bunny, so he will do his best in order to save his friend. Rex protects small animals.

Rex and his master (a boy) read a mushroom atlas together, then they set out for the forest. The dog is very careful, sniffing for edible mushrooms. After some time, he finds a huge boletus. Rex can’t believe his eyes – there’s a dwarf underneath a toadstool. A storm blows up, the friends go home.

Hens ask Rex to investigate the case of their missing eggs. The dog catches a fox red-handed. He follows the traces of the fugitive. It turns out that the fox breeds chicks in its cave. Rex finds the pit and frees the chicks.

Rex is a witness of an accident - a dog was hit by a car. Rex transports it to his own place using a pram, he puts a cast on its paws and prepares some wheels for a walk. When Rex feels that his patient is OK, he asks a cat to attack the dog. Rex wants to make it run.

City traffic is really smooth as long as everyone follows the rules. The protagonist crosses the road not on a zebra crossing, causing an accident. Such walks end in a prison cell.

A lonely man notices an exotic flower in the cracked, dry ground. He begins to take care of it. He systematically brings a handful of water to water the flower. The flower grows tall and green.
