A pair of couples set out for a luxurious cabin in the woods for a weekend of fun, relaxation, and maybe partner swapping. As the two women talk while their husbands follow sports on the radio, they discuss their mutual attraction to each other's mate.
Successful director Joe has hit rock bottom in his life. His girl has left him, he's turned into an alcoholic, and his creative talent is in shambles. His friend, to snap him out of it, bets him he can't direct an adult x-rated film. Joe accepts and gets involved in the wild world of XXX. When Joe arrives at the mansion location, he sees through a telescope the woman of his dreams. She dances a deep and sensual dance that awakens Joe and inspires his creative fire.

This A+ movie is loaded with lots of fun, as a cute young man enjoys coming of age, getting out of his parents' grips, while finding true love in the midst of a zany world, publishing a book all about "How to Make Love to a Woman." When I saw this movie late at night for the first time, I felt strong vibes connecting me to my own personal challenges of still being at home, like Billy Joel says, "too old to be at home, and your finger is going to pick your nose." Having to get up and go to work before sunrise virtually every morning was pretty stressful, to say the least, considering how tediously congested the drive was to and from a slanting claustrophobic office about as poorly lit as Joe's in the movie, Joe and the Volcano
