A post-modern theater adaptation of a classic Greek tragedy takes place in a central theater of Athens. Like every night, the audience take their seats and the play begins. Suddenly, the lights on stage go out. A group of young people, dressed in black and carrying guns, come up on stage. They apologize for the interruption and invite people from the audience to participate on stage. The play resumes with a main difference; life imitates art and not the opposite.

Lord Patschog and his twin sister Myriel are having a party at their house, but both of them seem distant, with no interest in their guests. Trying to flirt with a young girl, Simon, the best friend of Lord Patschog specifies Lords character: a person estranged to his environment, unable to accept his own existence. The party ends suddenly when Lord passes through a mirror! We find him again at the other side of the mirror, a place where he is forced to face countless reflections of himself and to be the reflection of anyone who stands on the other side of the mirror. Soon his sister follows him.

Set in a Medieval town, the film has a theatrical quality, as the behaviours and actions of the characters are exaggerated almost to the point of satire. Nevertheless, its relatively dark and heavy plot yields over-the-top expressions from the actors. There is little dialogue as the story opens: a mother is seen tending to her sick daughter, whom she is then told must be sacrificed to the forest. The viewers patiently but curiously watch the mother perform healing rituals with objects like egg shells, dried plants and twigs–also recurring in the installation–until the daughter mysteriously disappears.

After an accident that puts her in a coma, Maria Aliki, a struggling actress in search of major roles, enters a reality where she must play out all the possible roles life could have given her. Through this journey, she must discover who she truly is in order to return to life.
