The old man's story was so touching and entertaining that Anwar doubted the authenticity of the story. The teahouse did not convince the guy and said goodbye to the student. Later, while picking up material from the military chronicle for his film, Anwar saw on the screen the familiar face of a teahouse and fighters guarding frozen apples. Remembering an unsaid episode of the war, the student went to meet his hero...

In the last days of the war, a downed plane makes an emergency landing behind enemy lines. After returning from the army, Rustam easily and naturally fits into the environment of workers from a petrochemical plant. The main characters of the film, Khanum and her husband, together with their whole family, are trying to find their happiness in America. Having saved up money, they leave for a distant country, whether they will be happy there or they are doomed to miss their homeland.
