The play tells the story of four siblings trying to stop their father from leaving his family for another woman after one of them accidentally finds a love letter from an unknown woman to their father.
A few days before she travels to Mecca to perform Hajj, Ghada faces an emergency which forces her to reach out to people from her tainted past with whom she had cut off contact in order to collect a large sum of money. So, as she collects the money, will she manage to go to Mecca, or get tangled up in the past's webs?
After her husband is killed, Settohom gets into several conflicts with her family and tries to raise her children away from problems; however, she is forced to disguise herself as a man to face the difficulties she encounters in life.
The series revolves around the family of Fatima Ta'alba (Huda Sultan) and her children. Her eldest son is Hajj Darwish (Youssef Shaaban). The idea of the series revolves around the framework of an Egyptian family, the mother, Fatima Talaba, who raises her children in her own style, and her main goal is to form a large, interconnected and undisjointed family, and to secure the family's future by buying agricultural lands for them to become property owners. Hajj Darwish is the head of the family and is married to Maryam (Fadia Abdel-Ghani), his cousin. Fatima Talabeh controls all the family’s decisions to the extent that she chooses the wives of her children without taking their opinion and marries them. The mother controls the wives of her children and the entire house, including those in it.
The storyline of this series revolves around seven brothers who have been estranged for years, each having followed his own path. After the death of their father, the brothers are reunited and uncover a commandment left to them by their late father. Before long, all of their lives are turned upside down as they work to carry out the commandment in the face of numerous obstacles. The events that unfold reveal the true nature of the brothers and those around them.
