Biography
Anthony DeVito is an American semi-retired professional wrestler. He is best known for his appearances with WWE, Extreme Championship Wrestling and Ring of Honor In 1992, DeVito was signed by WWE to a contract. DeVito debuted for WWE in 1992 and worked as an enhancement talent for the company, losing to the likes of Mr. Perfect, Bam Bam Bigelow, Doink the Clown and Phantasio. After leaving the company in 1996, he began working on the independent circuit. DeVito is married with two children and they live together in New Windsor, New York. He has also trained many wrestlers throughout the years. On November 15, 2016, DeVito opened his own wrestling school

Crowning a Champion was a wrestling show held by Ring of Honor. It took place on July 27, 2002 at the Murphy Recreational Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The shows main event featured Christopher Daniels, Doug Williams, Low Ki and Spanky competing in a one-hour Iron Man match to become the first ROH Champion. The four earned the right to compete for the title by winning their respects brackets in the Road to the Title tournament. The rules for the match was that for every pin and submission a wrestler scored, they would gain two points, but if they were defeated or submitted, they would lose one point.

The show's main event was CM Punk challenging Samoa Joe for the ROH World Championship. The show became simply known as WWF Challenge in 1995. The show featured matches, pre-match interviews, and occasionally, summarized weekly events in WWF programming. Matches primarily saw top tier and mid-level talent versus jobbers. At times, there was a "feature" match between main WWF talent.
