Tiger Cubs, alternatively titled Special Duties Unit, is a Hong Kong police procedural television series produced by Lam Chi-wah and TVB. It premiered on Sunday, 24 June 2012 on Jade and HD Jade, and was the first TVB drama to broadcast in the Sunday night time slot since 1995's File of Justice. Tiger Cubs was one of six TVB dramas that were promoted at the 2011 Hong Kong Internal Film and TV Market. Tiger Cubs debuted its trailer at TVB's Programme Presentation 2012 event on 1 November 2011. The drama is renewed for a sequel in early 2013, with a production of 20 regular episodes. Filming for the second series began in June 2013.

Triumph in the Skies is about the daily lives of the staff, working under Solar Airways (a fictional airline based on Hong Kong's Cathay Pacific). It has been compared to the now-cancelled NBC series LAX. It sparked an interest in aviation when first aired amongst Hong Kong viewers, as well as an interest in a small doll named "Triangel" featured early on in the series.

Emphasis is placed on those who are preoccupied by switching between narrator, visual perspective and time and space. Moreover, conflict and suspense in the story reflect certain issues in romantic partnerships in real life.

The fashion magazine under the leadership of fashion icon Yip Long is like the imperial palace with its constant infighting. Publisher Ci Wai Man appears to be fawning over editor-in-chief but is actually hiding a dagger beneath his smile. Meanwhile, an apparel company of which Ho-fan is a major shareholder is found to have involved in illicit dealings. Yip Cheung-lok and his son Yip Ming-kwan, who are member of senior management, are associated with these activities. Lik-kei teams up with Ho-fan and Ho-fan’s younger sister Lee Chung-ying, who is a barrister by profession, to investigate. Lik-kei and Chung-ying get entangled in a relationship in the process. Also, Lik-kei’s elder sister Ko Wing-yumand Ho-fan get along sometimes and provoke each other at other times. Fate has brought the foursome together, causing a case that has remained unsolved for more than twenty years to be reopened.
