The events take place in a social context around “Khalil,” one of the symbols of the business community who has power and influence. A university girl living in a village flees from her stepfather's constant harassment to Cairo to work in an advertising agency, and later discovers that they are exploiting the girls who work there to achieve personal interests with adults.
The events revolve around a representative in Parliament who represents one of the constituencies in Upper Egypt. He was able to achieve great successes, but he dies. The family nominates his daughter, a law school graduate, to take his place, but she encounters many problems.
