Slowny are not elephants. They are fairy creatures, who live happily on the shores of the Crystal Sea. Slowny wear white stockings, wear hats (even in bed), adore cocoa, know the art and music. Their name means "slow", because these bizarre personalities are in no hurry. They are some what similar to us, because we are all a bit of the slowny.

The film through allegory tells a story of the relationship between two ends of one shoelace while they still are not aware of being one thing.

Is truth visible or even a real phenomenon or some transparent shell… A metaphysical etude where the object around which everything happens; around which actors collide and conflicts unfold with no clear outline of events. Only one state exists through which everything else moves - sand.
