The Five Immortals are known for their kindness and revenge, or in northeastern China, "protecting the calf". This is why the Five Immortals are also known as the "Family Protection Immortals". The immortal and the Immortal will usually enter into a contract to live and die together. Legend has it that there are many Jiang Hu forces hidden in Mu Yun City.
