A documentary from about Kate Bush's live tour in 1979.
Two versions of the documentary were produced: one with a German voice-over during the interviews with Kate Bush, broadcast on 17 May 1980 by German broadcaster SWF3. A version with Dutch subtitles was shown on Dutch television on 8 March 1981 by Dutch broadcaster VARA. The live performances in this film were shot in Hamburg (Germany) on 28 April 1979, and Mannheim (Germany) on 8 May 1979. The following songs are shown in this documentary: Room For The Life, Strange Phenomena, Violin, In The Warm Room (in part), Hammer Horror (in part), Kite, and Wuthering Heights.
Kate is also interviewed in between the songs, as well as a rare television appearance of both her parents.
On October 25, 1946, fifty years ago, the so-called Doctors' trial began in Nuremberg. Ernst Klee has compiled extensive material for this film about concentration camp doctors, for example, who nevertheless lectured at universities again after the war or found a place in the executive chairs of pharmaceutical companies. He documents the role of world-famous companies in human experimentation. He was also able to work through the investigation files against Josef Mengele in their entirety for the first time and view unknown material from Auschwitz.
