To save her father's bankrupt business, Eun-hui leaves her lover Ji-hun and marries Yu, a rich businessman. However, their marriage is working well. Ji-hun pleads and begs Eun-hui to come back to him and even threatens Yu to let her go. Yu fires a shotgun to Ji-hun, injuring him. As Eun-hui's distressed father has a serious car accident she returns to her husband, following her father's wish.

Sang-hun, a painter, and Yeong-hun, a doctor, are brothers. Sang-hun's girlfriend left him for another man, and he draws her portrait everyday. Deok-bo intends to fight his Eun-swi for the love of Bon-hie, but he is impressed by his rival's manly strength upon meeting. They become very close friends. Bun-hie, who was hoping to make Eun-swi an upstanding citizen is furious that he now spends all of his time Deok-bo. She decides to murder her former admirer-turned-rival.
