A friendship started in childhood in Thessaloniki firstly turned into being comrade in arms and then a half-century brotherhood and fraternity following the same ideals until the death upon proclamation of the Republic; Ataturk & Salih Bozok Veda Ataturk (The Farewell Ataturk) is the story of a brotherhood, portrayal of milestones in Ataturk's life and the story of a commander commanding a generation that challenged the death to save the homeland.
Depressed writer Aziz, returns to his hometown Antakya years later to confront himself. Over time, Aziz begins to meet and observes his neighbors, who are alienated from themselves and the society, living on the first three floors of the apartment where he lives. As he wanders the streets of Antakya and experiences the sense of belonging, he finds the courage to confront himself. With little touches to the drama of his neighbors, he helps them find themselves too.
When Oğuz and Sırma become doctors and return to the town with beautiful dreams, they will have to postpone both their dreams and their loves due to the events they encounter. The two biggest obstacles to their dreams, both for themselves and for their town, will be Doğan and Haşim.
