Li Jidanun Leungpiangsamut is a multi-award-winning writer born in Bangkok, Thailand. After graduating from Chiang Mai University Demonstration School, she went on to study Russian at Thammasat University's Faculty of Liberal Arts. She writes Y novels under the penname R Ruea Nai Mahasamut.
In 2017, Jidanun became the youngest recipient of an S.E.A. Write award for her short story collection "The Unorthodox Lion". After the success of the 2017 film "Bad Genius", she was hired to adapt the story into a novel of the same name.
