Biography
Vlasta Vrana is a Canadian actor of Czech descent. His surname means "crow" in Czech. Vrana was born to Czech parents in Norway but moved to Canada at the age of four. He has appeared on many television shows and films such as The New Avengers, The Littlest Hobo, Choices, Spearfield's Daughter, The Kiss, War of the Worlds, After Amy, All Souls, Friday the 13th: the Series, Windsor Protocol, Lobby, Highlander III: The Sorcerer, Sirens, All Souls, Mom P.I., The Hitchhiker, Press Run, Waking the Dead and The Blue Man. He was awarded the 2005 Award of Excellence by ACTRA Montreal, and the Richard Kind Award for best actor at the 2005 Trenton Film Festival. He also played Fire Chief Wickersham in Secret Window and Booker (MPC) in The Day After Tomorrow. His work as a voice actor includes Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell, Heavy Metal, Heavy Metal 2000, and The Mysterious Cities of Gold, as well as documentaries and thousands of radio and television commercials. He also narrated Canada Vignettes films and several other films for The National Film Board of Canada.

In Canada, reruns are currently being shown on both the English and French versions of Teletoon Retro. The series centered on the life and adventures of Lulu Moppet and Tubby Thompkins. Between stories, they showed stand-up comedy that Lulu hosted.
This show is not to be confused with Little Lulu and Her Little Friends, an anime TV series featuring the same characters made in 1976.

It also aired in the United States on cable channel USA Network, premiering on July 1, 1990. The series ran for three seasons, airing 66 hour-long episodes in total.

Urban Angel is a Canadian television drama series, which aired on CBC Television from 1991 to 1993. Based on the memoirs of real-life Canadian journalist Victor Malarek, the show starred Louis Ferreira as Victor Torres, a crusading journalist for the Montreal Tribune. The series aired in the United States as part of CBS's late-night Crimetime After Primetime line up.
The show's cast also included Vittorio Rossi, Dorothée Berryman, Vlasta Vrana, Ellen David, Dean Marshall, Michael Rudder, Macha Grenon and Sophie Lorain.

The Hunger is a British/Canadian television horror anthology series, co-produced by Scott Free Productions, Telescene Film Group Productions and the Canadian pay-TV channel The Movie Network. Though it shares a title with the feature film The Hunger the series has no direct plot or character connection to the film, and was created by Jeff Fazio.
Originally shown on the Sci Fi Channel in the UK, The Movie Network in Canada and Showtime in the US, the series was broadcast from 1997 to 2000, and is internally organized into two seasons. Each episode was based around an independent story introduced by the host; Terence Stamp hosted each episode for the first season, and was replaced in the second season by David Bowie. Stories tended to focus on themes of self-destructive desire and obsession, with a strong component of soft-core erotica; popular tropes for the stories included cannibalism, vampires, sex, and poison.
