Emile is an unhappy little vampire, doing a job he detests, in a world plunged into perpetual gloom. He serves a despotic mistress who loathes wrinkles, in the most extreme way.
Ludo was born with a drawer where his bellybutton should be. His parents, an alcoholic father and a mother with depression, use him as a dustbin. One day, his mother takes him to the doctor, who diagnoses that Ludo is not a child but a chest of drawers.
