Two men, Thurman and Beady, and a woman, Georgia, ply a confidence game in Alaska by selling 'salted' gold mines to gullible newcomers. But the cold Far North gets too hot for them and they move to greener pastures in the western United States. Business is good until a young cattleman, Tom Hatfield, falls for their trap. But Georgia falls in love with him and this causes problems for her partners.

Jim, a sharpshooter, also joins Munro’s circus and shows Iris and Billy much kindness. Iris and Jim do a sharpshooting act together. Munro’s jealousy is aroused when he sees that their friendship is growing into love. In revenge he tampers with Jim’s revolver, with the result that an accident happens in the ring and Iris is slightly wounded. Jim gives Munro a severe thrashing and leaves the circus, taking Iris and Billy with him, in search of other employment. While tramping the country, they meet Lady Rosemount and her husband. Sir Henry, hearing their story and wishing to show his gratitude, buys Munro’s circus and makes Jim the manager, on condition that he marries Iris. ×

Molly continues to impersonate his wife on her recovery, saving Warren from the consequences of a divorce scandal. Calvin learns of the deception and tries to blackmail Warren, without success. A detective pursues Molly, but only gains fingerprints of the real Mrs Warren. Mrs Warren and Calvin are killed in a motor car accident, leaving Warren and Molly free to marry.
