Mistaking the cries of teenage girls at crowded concerts for devotees screaming his name, the Doctor makes his way to Earth so he can lead his faithful masses. Once he discovers the kids don't want an evil Doctor, he goes about trying to destroy the source of the real desires a rock concert taking place at the Oakland (Calif.) Colesium.

The 37th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony take place on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. This year’s Performer Inductees are Pat Benatar, Duran Duran, Eminem, Eurythmics, Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie, and Carly Simon. Judas Priest and Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis will receive the Musical Excellence Award, Harry Belafonte and Elizabeth Cotten the Early Influence Award, and Allen Grubman, Jimmy Iovine, and Sylvia Robinson the Ahmet Ertegun Award.

Duran Duran's Oakland, California concerts that were filmed for the Arena (An Absurd Notion) movie were also edited to form the one-hour As The Lights Go Down concert video. As The Lights Go Down is essentially the Arena video without the theatrical sequences, although the live footage for many songs was edited differently. This version was first aired on the Cinemax cable television channel, and later on MTV and other music channels.

The David Lynch Foundation celebrates its 10th anniversary with an exploration of the director's use of immersive and ambient sound in his films, "Twin Peaks," and his original albums. This tribute concert features performances by Duran Duran, Moby, Donovan and Zola Jesus, among others.

In 1984, Duran Duran toured Canada and America. It was their first major tour as headliners in these two countries. Over 79 days, they travelled approximately 18,000 miles and played 51 shows in 43 cities to over 550,000 fans. The entire tour was filmed for this behind the scenes documentary which offers some fascinating and intriguing glimpses into the fun, glamour, agony, ecstasy and ultimate glory of three months on the road. The band is shown thriving on the pressures, psyching themselves up pre-stage and then delivering their all to a thunderous response. The production manager, tour manager, road crew are frequently caught fraught with last minute panics and touring nerves. Hoards of hysterical fans are seen chasing down and beating on the band's limo and with a camera placed inside the car it gives the viewer an insight into how loud and sinister that must have been. And in between all of this comes the great music.

Music legends Duran Duran brought BBC Music Day to a close with a concert live from Cornwall's Eden Project, which also featured performances from the fantastic Laura Mvula and up-coming singer Izzy Bizu.

This is a recording of Duran Duran's performance for the SkyArts Songbook, a TV programme broadcast in two parts. The show was an intimate live event, that showcased the band's musical catalogue and included a rare live performance of "Late Bar". There were only 150 tickets available for the event. The tickets could not be bought, and were be only obtained by winning them through DuranDuranMusic.com. As the performance was for TV there were strictly no cameras allowed and the audience were placed in front and back of Duran Duran on stage. This allowed the band to communicate with the audience on a personal level, with Roger Taylor turning this back on many occasions asking if everything is fine and if there were any wishes for songs to play. John Taylor also commented how intimate the show was.

'Live from London' was filmed over two nights in April 2004 at London's Wembley Arena, during Duran Duran's first global tour since the reunion of the band's original five members: Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor, Roger Taylor and Andy Taylor. This DVD features all the songs performed by Duran Duran on One Night Only, an ITV1 music entertainment show. The show was recorded at studios in London on 12 March 2011, with an audience of several hundred people. All the songs on the bootleg were performed with a string quartet, that included Martha Riley on violin. Also featured are history recordings, that consist of interviews with the four remaining original members of Duran Duran. These recordings were originally broadcast between the songs on the show. Tracks include Roger Taylor speaking from Villa Park in Birmingham, the venue of Duran Duran's MENCAP Concert in 1983.
