On May 1, 1960, on the eve of the meeting of the heads of government of the USSR and the United States, American pilot Francis Powers carried out a provocative "Flight" action on a Lockheed U-2 aircraft. The film is based on real historical facts of the First World War. The action takes place in Galicia.
