Paul Dangerfield grief counsellor Liz Moss is doing her job very well, because Paul's feeling so good, he tries to chat her up at a party. But Liz gives Paul the cold shoulder before he's even had a chance to find out if she's single.
Giving evidence as a prosecution witness at a murder trial, Paul Dangerfield's impartiality is severely tested. The pressure of the case puts DI Dagley's friendship with his female sidekick under strain. Ironically, the success of the trial depends on the defendant's mother watching every move.
