Laxmibai hosts a meal for children to seek their blessings. Hirabai comes there and tells Laxmibai that she is not pregnant. Laxmibai is shocked. Laxmibai asks Gangadhar if Hirabai is speaking truth. Laxmibai becomes hysterical and is inconsolable. Laxmibai asks the royal physician if she is pregnant. The royal physician tells Laxmibai that she is not pregnant and she will not be able to conceive for a few years. Jankibai and Nelson celebrate that Laxmibai is not pregnant.
