Calima rosa is a documentary that tells diverse stories about people who are dissident because of their sexual orientation or gender identity throughout seven of the Canary Islands. Loss, the ability to overcome or self-discovery are some of the universal themes that will be embodied in protagonists whose voices have been systematically silenced. In this way, memory also becomes collective and is woven through one's own and other people's memories, inhabited places, worn-out photographs and unfulfilled dreams.
