Vilar D'ouro, Trás-os-Montes, 1602. Martim Soares Moreno sees the sun shine on his land. Maybe it's the last time. Soon he will embark towards the new world. The Sea Monsters, also called History, transport him into the future. Hearing words like independence and republic, hearing accents and discovering everything his peers have done, loses his mind.
