In 1978 Gus and Ben, two teenagers, are abducted by an alien force. Forty years later they are still living with the effects of that night. Ben has become an alcoholic and Gus has been hiding his true origins. Both have tried to cope in their own way, but nothing has worked. Flashing between 1978 and 2019, our protagonists are challenged at every point by friends and family, some of them still demanding to know what happened to the duo that night all those years ago.
