Total Wipeout, the biggest, brashest and most exhilarating game show on television, returns for a new series of bangs, bumps and bruises. 20 crazy contestants throw themselves around the course in the hope of bagging the 10,000 pound first prize.
They face new games on the Qualifier in the form of a swinging maze - helping to sweep the hapless competitors off their tired feet - and the Ring-a-Dings, a set of tyre-like obstacles that turn even the average postman into a contortionist!
The evil Motivator is still aiding nervous contestants across the Big Red Balls, but 2011 sees the Dodgeball Boys providing additional impetus in the form of wet foam bullets on Dizzy Dummies.
Each show culminates in the ultimate obstacle course - The Wipeout Zone, which sees records being broken all over the place. The action is better than ever, the laughs are bigger than ever and the competition is harder than ever before.

The competition culminates in The Wipeout Zone where things get really competitive in order to win the magnificent trophy and pot of cash.

The biggest and brashest game show on television is back. Hosted by Richard Hammond and Amanda Byram, the show welcomes a set of contestants to Argentina to take on the wrath of some seriously hard obstacles in the hope of bagging 10,000 pounds and the magnificent trophy.
The Qualifier sees the welcome return of the Big Red Balls and the Motivator to provide a little help for those feeling reluctant to throw themselves of the edge. Crash Mountain will cut the numbers down a bit and Dizzy Dummies cuts it down further, whilst introducing the contestants to the Hose Man and the Ball Boys just to make it even harder.
Each programme culminates in the Wipeout Zone where things get really competitive in order to win the prize and a lifetime of respect. The action is better than ever, the laughs are bigger than ever and the competition is harder than ever before.

This episode welcomes a set of contestants to Buenos Aires to take on the wrath of some seriously hard obstacles in the hope of bagging £10,000 and the really rather cool trophy. The Qualifier sees the return of old favourite, the Big Red Balls and the Motivator to provide a little help for those feeling reluctant to throw themselves off the ledge. The Propellers, Sucker Punch and Cradles of Doom complete the line up on the first round. Crash Mountain cuts 12 contestants down to 5 and Dizzy Dummies reduces the line up even further. The show culminates in the Wipeout Zone where things get really competitive in order to win the prize and a lifetime of respect.

7. Series 4, Episode 7
Richard Hammond and Amanda Byram host the biggest, the best and most outrageous gameshow on televison. In this episode the North of the country take on the South in a battle to win the coveted trophy and cash prize, as well as bragging rights for the rest of eternity.
Twenty intrepid Brits travel to Argentina to pit their wits against huge foam-based obstacles including the Big Red Balls and the Sucker Punch. Crash Mountain slims the field down to twelve before the final five take on Dizzy Dummies in order to win a place in the final round. Night falls and the Wipeout Zone gets underway, but who will come out on top - the tough as old boots Northerners, or the Southern fairies?
8. International Special
Total Wipeout goes truly global for the very first time, as a hand-picked team of British contestants go head-to-head with a hand-picked team of contestants from the rest of the world. As ever, the hand that picked both teams didn't know what it was doing.
Richard Hammond is your giggling, non-partisan host as British brilliance on the world's craziest obstacle course is put to the test by the finest athletes from Germany, France and the USA, amongst others. Amanda Byram is course-side in Buenos Aires with a fistful of foreign phrasebooks to ensure that she can laugh at all the contestants with equal enthusiasm.
9. Series 4, The Final
Total Wipeout, the biggest, brashest and most exhausting game show on television is back for more bangs, bumps and bruises.
Finalists from throughout the series return to compete for the ultimate title - that of series champion. They pit themselves against some of the hardest obstacles of the series as well as each other, setting Total Wipeout records left right and centre on their journeys to get to the Wipeout Zone.
It is without doubt the most exciting show of the series, with some of the best action the programme has ever seen - and there is a healthy dose of laughter along the way.
Will one of the already crowned champions walk away with the trophy and prize money, or will one of the runners up get their revenge? It's a thrilling ride to find out!
10. Series 4, The Awards
Some people believe that the Oscars mark the highlight of the awards season, while others would argue the Baftas are the most exciting event of the year. However, most would agree that Total Wipeout - The Awards provides the biggest laughs.
This programme encompasses all of the best action of the series. It celebrates people getting punched in the face by the Sucker Punch, it applauds people falling off the Big Red Balls in style and it revels in people spinning off Dizzy Dummies. All of this as well as recognising that some contestants deserve praise for doing really rather well.
Richard Hammond is once again ready to present the contenders such awards as the Close But No Cigar award, the Finest Face Plant prize and the Outstanding Contribution to Mud. The show culminates in the biggest prize of them all: Best Presenter. Will Richard steal it from co-host Amanda Byram in his quest to win it two years running?
11. Series 4, Celebrity Special
Richard Hammond presents an extraordinary new game show.
Crashes, smashes and hilarious mud splashes are on the cards as ten celebrities from the world of sport, music and television take on one of television's largest and most extreme obstacle courses. They journey across the globe to the purpose-built Total Wipeout course in Argentina to put their strength, balance and bravery to the test in the hope of winning 10,000 pounds for charity.
Contestants include ex-footballer John Fashanu, Big Brother winner Chantelle Houghton and party boy Calum Best.
12. Celebrity Special 2
Ten celebrities, including Blue Peter presenter Andy Akinwolere, actress Ali Bastian and rugby legend Martin Offiah, take on the might of Total Wipeout. Richard Hammond hosts in the studio, whilst Amanda Byram is by the side of the course, ready to laugh at Olympic athlete Dean Macey in the mud, or H from Steps getting smacked in the face on the Sucker Punch.
The Qualifier sees someone break the record for the fastest time ever seen on any Total Wipeout. Crash Mountain witnesses even more celebrity smashes and bangs, and Dizzy Dummies whittles the field down to just three. They are the trio to tackle the Wipeout Zone as darkness falls. Who will win the ten thousand pounds for charity, and who will be flying home with egg on their famous face?
