After a fierce round of tests, the two remaining competitors return home to recreate the rapier inspired by Inigo Montoya from The Princess Bride. Which smith will be there breadwinner and bring honor to their name with the title of Forged in Fire Champion along with the $10,000 prize?
13. Frankish Throwing Axes
Four smiths get ready for the ultimate showdown when they are tasked with forging a camp knife out of steel harvested from a barbecue. Temperatures run high as they must first figure out what steel is high carbon and what is mild. After their blades are grilled to perfection and have gone through an intense round of testing, only two smiths advance to their home forges to recreate a pair of Frankish Throwing Axes.
14. A Very Forged Christmas
It's the most wonderful time of year in the Forge! Four Merry bladesmiths gather around the fire to spread holiday cheer. Using gifts of high carbon steel along with some mild steel, the smiths must use the San Mai technique to forge their way onto the judges' nice list. Will our wise men be impressed by the gifts they are given, or will they turn into Scrooges? After a round of Yuletide testing, two smiths get to spend a White Christmas at their home forges where they must recreate the Nutcracking English blade; the 1796 Light Cavalry Sword. Which smith will return with a blade that brings the judges so much Christmas joy that they'll earn the title of Forged in Fire Champion, and a check for $10,000?
15. The Chinese War Sword
Four smiths get ready for a cage match when they are tasked with not only freeing their tools from a steel grate, but also forging a knife from it. After opting for canister, the competitors fight the clock and heat in an attempt to turn in a great blade to the judges. After a relentless round of testing, the two remaining smiths head home to recreate a Chinese War Sword. Which smith will forge a blade worthy for battle, earning the Forged in Fire title, and $100,000?
16. The Sword in the Stone
Four smiths are on a quest to forge signature blades from various Damascus patterns. A tedious and time-consuming task, only three competitors will be victorious. After a brutal second round the final two competitors are tasked with recreating their own version of the legendary Sword in the Stone. Find out which smith can pull the best sword from the forge and be crowned Forged in Fire Champion with a king's worthy prize of $10,000.
17. Charlemagne's Sword
Four smiths crack open crucibles to reveal surprise metals they'll be using to forge signature blades. After a tense round, one smith is sent packing while the three remaining competitors are tasked with casting bronze guards. Only two survive and move on to their home forges to recreate the legendary sword of King Charlemagne: the Joyeuse. Which Smith's sword will be fit for a king?
18. The Spanish Conquistador Sword

Four smiths are faced with recreating the WWII Special Forces Smatchet knife. A knife famous for its versatility on the battlefield. After two rounds and two competitors being eliminated the two remaining smiths head back to their home forges to recreate the infamous Spanish Conquistador sword. Find out which smith will join the ranks of Forged in Fire champions and return home with the $10,000 prize.
19. The Pira

Four smiths must navigate stormy seas by making Hada blades from the material harvested from a ship's wheel. After confronting an ocean of problems in the first two rounds, just two smiths sail through testing to make it to the final challenge where they must recreate the symbolic and deadly Filipino sword: the Pira. Which smith has the sea legs to survive the final testing and win the $10,000 treasure and the title of Forged in Fire champion?
20. French Pioneer Sword
Four smiths are out on the farm to salvage steel from old farm equipment to make classic chef knives. Only two smiths will slice and dice their way to the final round where they must forge the iconic Rooster Head French Pioneer Sword. Find out which smith will cook up a sword worthy of victory, earning the title of Forged in Fire Champion and a check for $10,000.
21. Darb Sri Gun Chai Battle Sword
In a twist of fate, four smiths must forge a twist and stack Damascus blade. After two rounds the last two smiths standing must return home and recreate the Darb Sri Gun Chai, an enormous, double handed Thai battle sword. Two beautiful swords will be tested to their limits, but only one can be proclaimed the Forged in Fire Champion and win the prize of $10,000.
22. Zulu War Axe
Four smiths are tasked with forging Japanese Natas using a traditional Japanese technique. After two intense rounds, the three remaining blades are tested to determine which contestants will head to their home forges to recreate the prestigious Zulu War Axe. Which smith’s weapon will have what it takes to chop down the competition, win $10,000, and be crowned Forged in Fire Champion?
23. The Chinese Zhanmadao
Four smiths are tasked with creating signature blades from 1095 steel. As time ticks by, new parameters will be added, keeping the smiths on their toes. Ultimately, two smiths make it back to their home forges to recreate one of the longest swords in the forge, the Chines Zhanmadao. Which smith will forge a blade worthy of $10,000 and the title of Forged in Fire Champion?
24. The German Dussage
Four bladesmiths are tasked with making a canister damascus blade from threaded bolts. After a couple of intense rounds and some brutal testing, two smiths return to their home forges to recreate the deadly German Dussage Sword. Two blades will be pushed to their limits, but only one will emerge with the $10,000 prize and the title of Forged in Fire Champion.
25. First Responders Edition
Four first responder bladesmiths are called into the forge to honor those who run toward danger while others run away. Tasked with forging tactical knives out of rescue tools, the smiths battle both the heat and the clock. Ultimately, two smiths persevere and return home to recreate one of the most important tools in a firefighter's arsenal: the Halligan Bar. Which smith's Halligan Bar will save the day, winning them $10,000 and the title of Forged in For Champion?
26. Game of Forge
In a throwback to the Iron Age, four smiths must forge daggers as if they were in 650 B.C., relying solely on coal forges and Brite Force to get the job done. Ultimately, to competitors return to present day and head back to their home forges to recreate Arya Stark's Needle from Game of Thrones. Which smith will forge a blade worthy of the Iron throne and receive a check for $10,000?
27. The Ikakalaka
Four smiths determine their fate when they have to select a forging technique ranging from easy to difficult. They must choose wisely as their selection will directly impact their next round. Ultimately, two smiths must recreate the Ikakalaka African Sword.
28. Samurai Showdown
In this Samurai themed competition, four smiths must forge a Japanese tanto dagger. Summoning their inner warriors, the smiths fight to produce blades that are worthy of the samurai. Ultimately, two competitors return home to reproduce the deadly Sodegaramai. Which smith will snag the title of Forged in Fire Champion and win $10,000?
29. Baby Boomer vs Gen Z
Baby Boomers and Gen Z-ers face off in the Old vs. New competition. After several intense rounds, two smiths head back to their home forges to recreate ancient China's Sword of Goujian, one of the most intact artifacts ever recovered by archaeologists. Which smith's sword is pristine enough to stand the test of time, earning the title of Forged in Fire Champion and $10,000?
30. The Nimcha
Four smiths are tasked with forging signature blades from scrap metal shavings. After two intense rounds, the remaining smiths head home to recreate the Nimcha, a sword traditionally made from recycled blades. Which smith will get scrappy to produce a weapon worthy of $10,000 and the title of Forged in Fire Champion?
31. Titanium Smackdown
Four smiths must forge handles in round one using metal never before seen in this competition - titanium. The smiths must learn to navigate this new metal just to make it to round two. Ultimately, two competitors are able to produce weapons worthy of moving on to their home forges for another complex build: the Horseman's Tabar and Hidden Dagger. Which smith will chop down the competition, earning $10,000 and the title of Forged in Fire Champion?
32. Tomahawk and Bowie
Four smiths are put to the test when they must forge keys to unlock boxes of steel needed to make a knife. After a couple of intense rounds, two competitors are are picked to head back to their home forges to recreate two American classics: the Tomahawk and Bowie. Which smith will honor American history by producing a weapon worthy of the title of Forged in Fire Champion and the$10,000 prize?

In this first-ever pay-to-play competition, smiths must fork over forge funds to use the necessary tools; after two smiths are left bankrupt, the remaining two return home to re-create the most expensive sword ever sold; the Boateng Saber.
36. Summer Forging Games Part 1
In this two-part Forged in Fire special, four smiths enter the forge to compete in four events that will test every aspect of their bladesmithing capabilities. In event one, these smiths must create a testable knife from a railroad spike and a piece of high carbon steel. After testing, the four smiths are ranked from first to last and move on to event two where they must make a set of Damascus throwing knives. After another brutal bout of testing, which three competitors will mover forward to the next event for a shot at first place, the Forged in Fire title and $15,000.
37. Summer Forging Games Part 2
In the second half of the Forged in Fire Summer Games, three smiths remain, eager to win the Damascus metal and $15,000. However, the challenges are far from over as they must forge the Greek Xiphos Sword, from start to finish, in one round. After being ranked from first to last, all three enter the final event at their home forges, where they must choose to recreate one of four historical weapons, ranging in level of difficulty and point value. Which smith will return with a weapon worthy of being crowned the first Forged in Fire Summer Games champion and walk away with $15,000?
