Clea brings her Russian husband home to London. This suits his mistress Margot, who is Clea's best friend. But Kostya is not ready to settle down in suburbia, and is he really picking mushrooms when he goes out all night?

Anthony and Margot are coming to lunch on their way to demonstrate at a nuclear base... But Kostya and Clea have divided their kitchen as she becomes sure he is a cannibal. And the Polish delicatessen owner Tadeus follows them all, hoping to find the best wild mushroom grounds in England.
